ELIGIBLE AUSTRALIAN HEALTH FUNDS
CLAIM A REBATE FOR YOUR CONTACT LENSES FROM YOUR HEALTH FUND
If you belong to an Australian health fund with extras cover for optical products then you may be entitled to claim a rebate back on your prescription contact lenses. When you receive your lenses you will also be issued an itemised receipt. Please use the receipt to claim your rebate with your health fund. To make things simple we recommend using your health funds online portal for claims. This process is often simple and just requires you to enter in our provider number, item numbers and their corresponding costs. Below is a list of all the common health funds in Australia. Please note that if your health fund is not listed below, it does not mean you cannot claim a rebate back. If your health fund is Australian and covers benefits for prescription contact lenses, you should be able to claim a rebate back from them.
